The Pains of the Fashion Industry

Despite a freshman collection bought out by Barney's, despite winning CFDA's Fashion Fund award, and despite giving into the vast consumerization known as Target, Proenza Schouler is still experiencing growing pains.

After buying out one of their investors, the design team has been looking for some deep pockets to expand their business. Apparently, an unnamed European luxury firm is said to be helping the young designers with their financial expansion.

I wonder if this will be a merger, an acquisition, or merely a loan...
